Entecavir Tablet is formulated for the treatment of long-term infection of the liver (hepatitis) due to hepatitis B virus. Also, this is utilized for preventing HBV re-infection after transplanting of liver and to cure HIV patients infected with HBV. It can be recommended in patient having damaged liver which still functions properly and in person with a damaged liver that doesn't function properly.
- Entecavir Tablet is a kind oral anti-viral medication, recommended in treating of hepatitis B. The suggested dose is 0.5mg to 1mg one time in a day. It is available in a tablet and liquid form to take by mouth, on an empty stomach
- It has several Side-Effects include Headache, Fatigue, Nausea, Weakness, Dizziness, Tiredness, lightheadedness, Stomachache, Muscle pain, Vomiting, Irregular heartbeat, Yellow discoloration of skin and urine, Cold legs, Loss of appetite, Difficulty breathing, Light-colored bowel movements, dizziness. Serious adverse effects comprise Lactic Acidosis.
